Yogi Himanshu Joshi -Founder
Born with a courageous spirit and an unwavering dedication to truth, Yogi Himanshu has lived a life that seamlessly blends strength, compassion, and service. A native of India, he began his journey early as a multi-talented athlete, representing his state and nation in various sports disciplines. His physical strength, sharp focus, and fearless determination led to him being headhunted by the Indian Army during his college years — a recognition of his exceptional physical and mental stamina.
However, life had a deeper purpose in store for him. During his time in rigorous military-style training, Himanshu suffered an internal injury—one that no medical treatment could cure. What seemed like a physical setback eventually became the gateway to a profound spiritual awakening. Turning to meditation as his last hope, he devoted himself fully to the practice for over a year. Through unwavering discipline and inner exploration, he not only healed his body but also awakened a new dimension of life rooted in silence, awareness, and self-realization.
200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Uluwatu Bali

What if your life could completely transform in just 25 days? What if you could walk away not only as a certified yoga teacher, but as someone who really lives the wisdom, confidence and inner power that yoga promises? At Bali Yoga School in Uluwatu our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is not just about learning poses, it’s about becoming the best version of yourself that has been inside you all along.
This isn’t a typical yoga teacher training course. Sure, you will learn how to teach incredible yoga classes, but you will also learn so much about yourself in the process. We have witnessed students come in as unsure and walk away as confident, empowered and ready to spread yoga to the world. That transformation occurs because we are paying attention to the entire experience, rather than the technical aspects.
One of the reasons that makes the difference is our location in Uluwatu. You will be studying in a quiet location, which is ideally located- only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful beaches and everything you need in town. It is peaceful enough to concentrate totally on what you are learning but you never feel alone in the vibrant local culture that makes Bali so special. Join our Basic 50 Hour Yoga Course Uluwatu & 100 Hour Yoga TTC Uluwatu.
Just imagine your day here: morning practice with the gentle ocean breeze, diving into the lessons learning about yoga philosophy and how to teach yoga, and evenings where you can relax, contemplate or do what you like in the local area. This natural rhythm of this place helps in all that you are trying to learn.
200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training In Bali - Course Syllabus
The distinguishing feature of our training is its comprehensiveness. You will learn the physical postures, sure, but you will also learn the underlying meaning behind them. You will find out how to teach confidently, how to safely adjust students, and how to design classes that can actually benefit people. Above all, you will learn how to live yoga – not only practice it one hour a day.
Our experienced teachers have been down this path themselves. They understand how it feels to be nervous about teaching your first course or uncertain about whether you actually know the philosophy. They are here to take you through all that with patience, wisdom and a real concern about your development.
When you complete this Yoga Alliance certified program, you will have something more than a certificate. You will possess actual skills, profound knowledge and the confidence to teach yoga anywhere in the world. You will have connected with other teachers all over the world – friendships that usually last a lifetime. And most importantly, new version of your self.
