Unlike the traditional programs which put you on a strict timetable, our ground breaking flexible approach allows you to start your seven-day trip on any day of the week. Begin Sunday with light Surya Bhedi pranayama and body scan or start Wednesday with beach sunset flows and chakra work. Every starting place makes a different tapestry of growth, and your experience is really individual.
The seven days will give the benefit of true, deep integration, which is impossible in shorter retreats. You will learn all the seven pranayama techniques we offer- starting with the basics of Anulom Vilom that soothes your nervous system all the way to the advanced technique of Kapalabhati that helps to light the fire inside you. Feel the full range of soft Hatha yoga classes where you can go to deep healing and restorative sessions to hard Dynamic Hatha Vinyasa classes where you can develop un-shakable strength and elegant vitality. It is the time in which one can truly develop skills, have no apprehension of working independently, and be able to embody ancient wisdom permanently.
Your meditation experience will cover the whole spectrum of the conventional practices: sacred Om and potent Shiva mantra sessions, transformative chakra awakening sessions, mindful walking meditation in the temple grounds and tropical gardens, breath awareness practice, heart-opening loving-kindness practice, and deep body scan experiences that will free years of stored tension. Several beach sunset yoga sessions in the legendary beaches of Canggu leave soul-throbbing memories that keep on inspiring you even after going back home.
The seven-day experience will consist of a lot of Yoga Nidra and sound baths which will help to experience the most profound layers of rest and understanding. You have not only mastered yoga by your last day, but you have also adopted the whole lifestyle of conscious living.

YOGI HIMANSHU JOSHI / The Founder of Bali Yoga School & Himalayan Yoga Association
His existence is our example as a human being. His existance is our message to the world. A simple man with fewer needs, and an accomplished yogi is what describe Yogi Himanshu. He is one of the most respected yoga gurus in India. His aim has always been spreading love and helping people through Yoga teachings. He has become an accomplished yogi after acquiring an intense yoga Sadhana. He has completed his Masters in Indian & Western Philosophy, and graduated from the university with a tremendous amount of certificates and accomplishments in many fields. He encourages yoga students to explore and deepen their practices at their own pace. He is the founder of a lot of leading yoga institutes in India & around the world, and he ensures that his classes remain safe, energetic, dynamic and loving.
Yogi Himanshu teaches Meditation, and yoga philosophy ‘Teachings of Maharishi Patanjali’s yoga sutras & teachings of Bhagavad Gita.’ He also conducts kirtan nights with mantra chantings with his powerful voice that comes from his soul, and plays Indian classical instruments beautifully for our students so that they can also experience and learn the power of Indian classical music & mantra chantings.

YOGINI CHIARA
Yogini Chiara began practicing yoga in Italy, and after years of practice she began her training in an international school based in Italy and then continued it in Indonesia.
Over the years, Chiara has studied different styles of yoga: Hatha, Yin , Pregnancy Yoga, although her great passion is the fluidity and freedom of Vinyasa yoga.
As a personal practice she also explores other disciplines always linked to movement and martial arts , Capoeira, Muay Thai as well as Dancing.
She recently achieved level 1 of Animal Flow, a free body movement workout.
Her knowledges regard many subjects regarding nature, natural therapies and anything else connected with wellness for body, mind and soul.
She loves teaching Yoga and doing her best to improve people’s life.

YOGINI SHANTI
She was born and raised in Sumbawa Besar by her Balinese parents who have also been yoga practitioners. Since she was a child, Hare Krishna mantra was her lullaby song to go to sleep. She devoted herself into Hare krishna movement for 5 years by living in many ashrams until she finally found her Guru, and decided to volunteer herself for more than 5 years at her Guru’s ashram. She was learning Bhagavad Gita, Hatha yoga, and meditation then she got her scholarship for 200hrs yoga teacher training at S-VYASA University in Bangalore, India. After coming back to Bali, she started teaching yoga asanas and meditation in her Guru’s ashram and other places for 5 years. She has been presenting amazing skills to teach pranayama, yoga philosophy and meditation since then.

YOGI PANDU
He was born into a priest family. He grew up with spiritual practices, and since his young age, his interest in Vedic Literature was powerful. He spent a lot of time in Ashram in Bali, and went to India in 2014 to study Sanskrit at Banaras Hindu University. He spent 5 years in Varanasi, and 3.5 year in an Ashram in Vrindavan. He visited so many holy places, met Gurus with spiritual knowledge and learn from them. The intense and difficult life in India gave him so much lessons and completely changed himself. When he came back to Bali, he did his 500hr YTT at Bali Yoga School, and now intended to fully dedicate his time and life to learn, explore, and practice all aspect of Yoga. His high level of experience, knowledge and skill is now shining at Bali Yoga School. He loves to spread his wisdom to help others to get the benefits and develop themselves in the beautiful path of yoga.
